Forthcoming: A Third of Life

In collaboration with IC-98

 

This collaborative project with artist duo IC-98 will investigate the themes of rest and collective sleep as tools for reaching beyond the polarized politics of today and seeking solutions for the current wicked problems in the subconcious. It will first be realized at the Concentrico festival in Logroño, Spain in June 2025. A secret garden will appear in the ruins of an old house, where a shared ritual of sleeping will take place inspired by the Greek asklepieia. The votive objects will travel onwards to new locations and the garden will remain to offer rest and relief to the abandoned site, the dense city suffering from the heat island effect worsened by climate change and to visitors of different species.
